This week has been a great week again full of learning and projects, and still having the great feeling of the success of the Nativity.
We continue learning about Electricity and Magnetism, we are almost done with the Unit of the Atlantic Region in Social Studies, and we have been rehearsing the Christmas Carol play and started reading the Hatchet in ELA. The fractions in Maths seem interesting and challenging, we still need to learn more about that. We have studied the parts of the Mass in Religion, and we will study the meaning of the Advent next week. The Spanish lessons have been focused on the proper use of the presente de indicativo and we have learnt lots of Spanish Christmas traditions. We have also investigated about the Christmas traditions around the world and have shared our family traditions as well.
One of the most delicious cakes in the world is the Roscon de Reyes. We eat it in Spain to celebrate the Epifanía and the coming of the Three Wise Men to leave the presents in our houses. We hopefully can cook some in the class next week. If not, or if you want to make them at home just watch the video and follow the recipe!!!!AND DON´T FORGET THE SECRET INGREDIENT!
